Believe it or not

We are finally moving in a direction to get Mary’s “Princess room” done. We have picked out the bed, bedding and wall color. It helps we have a deadline we want to get it finished by her birthday when Theresa, Lauren & Ellie get here. As usual Jim is on the do it himself and save money kick. We have insurance money from the flood but rather than pay someone to put in carpet I think he is going to install wood floors and do it himself. Which would be better for Mary’s allergies but I am predicting will take quite some time.

Daddy & Mary

DC so far

Killing time waiting to see if Jim will be able to join us today to go to the museums and waiting to see about the weather.

We flew in Wednesday and Mary was not in the car seat on the plane. Good that I didn't have to lug around and buckle in the seat, bad that she had the biggest fit ever about 30 minutes before landing about staying in her seat. So far we have we have went to Build a Bear (she named her bear Sue like everything else babies etc), the mall (rode the train there) and Arlington cemetery. Nap time and the weather have not cooperated.

Happy Birthday to Ellie

Happy 6th Birthday Ellie! I know I have forgotten some nephews (sorry Chris, Josh, A.J. & Connor) on the blog this year but rather than ignore every one for the rest of the year will try to do better going forward. This was Ellie at 1 - how cute!

This morning's looked too red

Picture of the day - by Courtney!

Does this mean she is embracing this concept?

My blog (aka Lisa) sent me an email saying it missed me. Quite honestly things have been pretty normal around here same old routine. Throw in some "Mary fits" in public places (last night at Bass Pro) and not much is going on. We do have the Wiggles concert this weekend (August 8th) and Jim has to work over the weekend later this month so Mary and I are flying to DC too and staying for 5 days. Honestly facing the prospect of her non listening ears by myself while trying to entertain her alone doesn't sound all that fun.

I got my lens back that was being repaired - much better.
