Merry Merry Christmas Baby

As usual I am way behind on the blog (and everything else). I want to slap the people who ask me if I am all ready for Christmas.
On the way in to work listening to Christmas music I heard Carrie Underwood sing O Holy Night and wondered if Elvis has ever recorded it. I could not find anything on ITunes. I am sure had he recorded it it would be superior to anything I have ever heard. Even Celine Dion’s version sounded pretty weak in comparison to what I have in my mind of Elvis singing it.

Quick rundown in the world of Laxton. Courtney finished another semester with 3 B’s and an A. Mary is in Transitional Kindergarten trying to train yet a new round of teachers. The faster they accept she is in charge (like we have) the smoother things will go. Jim caught a nasty virus that has turned into pneumonia and has been pretty sick for 2 weeks now. Then there is me, not ready for Christmas, not even ready for tomorrow but I am sure it will come regardless.

If I don’t get back on here before Christmas I hope all of you who occasionally check this to see if I am actually posting has a Merry Christmas.
