Pretty much sums up the weekend. The good news is Grandpa is doing much better. Here is a quick recap:
- The plane was on the runway at DFW for 2 hours due to some maintenance issues waited for 45 minutes for the mechanic to show up! The pilot said he called for one 3 times don't people get fired anymore?
- We get to Denver and Mary's eye is full of goo running non stop hello I think we have pink eye called the pediatrician and eventually got prescription eye drops (which she hated)
- Had lunch at Chili's (how original) with Theresa, Luke Lauren Ellie & Mom
- Went the hospital to see Grandpa not sure if he knew who we were at first
- Had dinner with the Mom & Dad and the Gilbreaths and went back to Mom & Dad's so Theresa could teach Mary how to jump down the stairs - thanks Sis!
- Mary figured out she loves her Aunt Theresa!
- Ellie worked non stop bringing Mary toys and books of course Mary thought Ellie was pretty fun
- Lauren is not my squishy belly girl anymore her legs are as long as her moms and she is a beautiful girl!
- Mom & Dad's redecorating totally changed their place you don't really realize how much until you see it
- Keeping Mary entertained in the hotel room for 3 hours while Jim works out showers etc is not fun!
- Saw Grandpa for 3 short visits on Saturday including one at 9:00 p.m. he was wide awake but sometimes not making alot of sense said there was a Russian guy there who said he was there to help Grandpa
- Love the Gilbreaths house and landscaping it is the perfect home for them
- Grandpa started doing better and is now sitting up to eat and actually eating
- Mary does awesome in the stroller with the help of some M&M's! We got to watch Luke play baseball for the first time and he is really good and so modest!
- We had dinner at Lone Star and poor Mary had enough sitting and finally had a bit of a meltdown
- It truly takes 3 hours for me to take a shower get Mary & I ready get all of us packed and out of the hotel room!
- Saw Grandpa Sunday a.m. and told him we were going back home then breakfast with the family at Village Inn and then off to the airport where the security line was very short and the TSA workers were compentent and dare I say friendly!
- Another wait in Denver for a plane causing us to land an hour late

I think I had to pause in the middle of this update!! You were busy!!! Hopefully you and the "carrier monkey"--love that--are feeling better soon. If she's still on the drops, put them in the fridge, they don't burn as bad then.
