Mary is now afraid of getting her hair washed Courtney had to get in the tub with her last night (in her underwear) while I washed her hair and she still screamed like we were killing her. Surprisingly she woke up in a pretty good mood but did not sleep in the car and kept doing things to keep herself awake including hitting her legs which reminded her of "Clippity Clop" which means I sang that damn song most of the way to school! Courtney thinks I am spoiling her I am just trying to live in a house with minimal screaming.

It is so hard to know what works it sounds like she is very strong headed and that can be a huge challenge. I say let her scream just go buy yourself some industrial earplugs!!!

I told the kids to look for monkeys on the ceiling so they would tip their head back for rinsing. We also sang the monkeys jumping on the bed song. It must work because it was the same thing my mom did with me!
The part about Court in her underwear struck me as strange also...

Oh great!!! Now Mary's going to think she is supposed to take a bath while wearing her underwear. Here's a novel idea. If you can get everyone in the family to bathe or take a shower while wearing their underwear think how you can cut down on all those loads of laundry that your always complaining about.
I must say... the thought of my wet cold undies on my butt was not very comfortable. Not only was I in my undies, but I had on a t-shirt that alos got soaked. I'm pretty sure I got more rinsed than mary at that point. Anything for my mary lou,,,. It was actually my idea to get in. I hadn't had my weekly shower yet.. 2 birds with 1 stone! ha ha
