On the way in to work I was listening to a popular radio personality in the Dallas area indirectly criticize Sarah Palin, her daughter and the father of her unborn child. Interestingly enough this man has a daughter about the same age. Accidents happen, unplanned pregnancies happen, how you respond these circumstances measure you as a parent and a person. Aren’t there some topics that are not up for discussion?

You're right on. Some people become stronger when facing a life changing event at a young age. They possibly are shaped in later life after being able to face that challenge and come out of it stronger. Bobo
I don't know much about this lady yet, but I think the things she is facing and has faced as a wife/mother make it easier to relate to her. Not mention all she has accomplished already. And I am sorry, but I would vote for her unwed, pregnant 17 year old daughter before I would vote for Obama!

Nothing safe during election time. Sigh.
God does not make mistakes, this baby is coming into the world for a reason. I can't imagine my life without my beautiful niece!! I think this is a pretty remarkable lady, I don't care what they dig up!

This part of politics is what drives me crazy! This poor girl isn't running for VP, her mother is. So sad. I agree with T, the baby is coming for a reason.
I'm sick of politics. Is it November yet????
Well I guess I should say something... Since I was one of the biggest shocker's in my mother's life during her Senior year. I have to say, I think every child is a blessing, so mammy start counting your blessings, and show some love.. ha ha...
Ok maybe this was mostly about me needing some more mammy attention,, but come on,, big girls need love too!
