25 years old today..

I graduated high school. The date always sticks out in my mind since I wondered sometimes if I would be there. Walking around the track when you are a little over 2 weeks from your due date seems like at bad idea. As we all know I had plenty of time - a month to the day to be exact. I don’t even know that girl today – she thought she had the weight of the world on her shoulders too bad she didn’t have a crystal ball so she could have seen everything would be just fine.

That girl had a lot of courage and helped make you the woman you are today. You've done good.

I had no idea all that was going on. I thought that you were stashing Cupcakes, Ding Dongs. Snowballs, and Twinkies in your pillow case again for all night snacking.
I hate to admit it, but Lisa is right. Not only did you get your life together, and turned out to be a great person, you gave us all Courtney.

I knew that when you decided to walk that 1/2 mille track with your class, that you were going to make it. I think they call it a defining moment. Doesn't seem like 25 years, make me feel very old. Good job, never was a quitter and never will be.

Mom do you mean a defining moment like in Tin Cup - and if you say you haven't seen that movie tell me I will buy it for you its one of the T classics (Top Gun, Tombstone, Twister are the ones that come to mind)

I remember thinking it might be embarrassing for you on the way to the graduation. But, what sticks in my mind was cheering you on, and how proud I was of you. You definately made the right choice. I am so glad you weren't a selfish teen, and decided to have that beautiful baby!!
