Weekend update

I am not sure there is anything worse than seeing the daycare number come up on caller ID. I got a call at 5:10 on Friday Mary has a 101.7 fever and just threw up. Awesome – all I can think about is putting this kid in the car for an hour and her puking all the way home. Luckily that was not the case. She only threw up once and then had other “issues”. She ran a fever all weekend. Went to the Dr yesterday a.m.; tested her for the flu, strep throat, looked at her ears, nose, etc and determined it was a virus that had to run its course. So we have spent the weekend alternating Motrin and Tylenol, eating cookies, using the pacie outside the bed and watching much more TV than she normally does. As of right now she is at 98.8 so if she stays there she can go to school tomorrow if not Mommy will be home from work.
