They had so many phone calls they are going to try it again - the good news is they will all have to pick new songs. Something that really puzzles me - if you are in the bottom 2 or 3 whatever the count is that week you have to sing your song. Isn't that kind of saying you sucked so bad your in the bottom and we want to hear why. Last night it was pretty obvious although I think the "8 Days a Week Girl" should have went even though the guy who sang "I Saw her Standing There" didn't know or changed the words either way kid you don't mess with a classic! Forget that whole make it your own concept on Beatles night and on Elvis night they are way out of your league!
Being the only 40+ person I know who watches One Tree Hill (and loves it) I have to say that show explains why the next generation is so unrealistic. Here we have high school English teacher - 22 year old Hailey living in a mansion (with a pool) with her unemployed husband and they have a nanny for their 4 year old ! A little dose of reality here people no wonder Courtney wanted to be a teacher they do alot better than I thought!

I think I have figured a few things out about Liz's child...
They didn't have a TV and she was forced to listen to these old "classics" ie. the Beatles and Elvis until she learned to love them. (You aren't that much older than me and I don't know much about either of them. That also explains why you have a brain full of music knowledge. If you are ever on Who wants to be a Millionaire and a music question comes up...call a friend and make it LIZ!!!! She will know..I guarantee it!
It also explains why you seem to have 15 different shows that you watch religiously. You are making up for not having one as a child. My kids kept me from having time to watch a series (still do) and keep up with what was happening. That is why we watch so much sports...all you have to do is check the score and you pretty much know what happened. And sports are the only shows that do reruns. (DVR's are great!) The last one series we watched was Dallas and that was before the kiddos really kicked in...but the dream show finished us off on that series! Stupid writers!
Lisa
OOPS!!! That should have said Liz's childHOOD!
