It's not Halloween yet but I think this is pretty scary and what we came home to tonight. Mary & Hopey are freaking out a little neither one likes change. We are taking out all of the carpet in the house (except for the hall upstairs and the stairs) hopefully it will help Jim & Mary's allergies and cut down on the wheezing.

Some of the HGTV episodes show cement floors. You should go for the new look.
Chris and Trisha actually did stained concrete in their new house. And their patio surround is pattern stamped cement. It looks good...and out in the country it is way better than carpet.
Is it still scary? How is the project coming along?

you are going to love cleaning up wood floors over carpet. They just come so nice and clean no matter what you spill unlike carpet when stuff soaks into the pad....yuck you just never know what is growing in carpet!!! Especially when an animal or human pees on the carpet it just never comes out all the way.
