Mary fights sleep as a rule and it has now extended to the car. She takes her shoes and socks off, throws toys then gets mad if I don’t hand them back to her, wants me to sing Clippity Clop or Twinkle, Twinkle 400 times (you get the idea). Doesn’t she realize she is crabby without her sleep? This morning she cried when I left her at Baby school something she normally does not do if she sleeps in the car but no sleep = crabby girl. I feel like I am totally abandoning her when she is screaming Mommy, Mommy, Mommy and I can’t leave until she calms down which usually starts the crying again but she is quiet within 30 seconds after I walk out the door (I stand there and listen).
Tomorrow Courtney turns 24 – wow a 24 year old and an almost 21 month old quite strange…
