So Big

Mary is just learning to do so many things all at once. She points to her hands, fingers, hair and toes when you ask her where they are. She does get eyes and nose mixed up. She also messes up her hair if you tell her it looks pretty which isn’t always so cute after I finish fixing it. She couldn’t get enough of us reading books this weekend especially Jim. He got home Thursday night and all of the sudden she is a Daddy’s girl. I must say I enjoyed the break!

The police stopped by for a visit at midnight on Saturday night. The “wolf pack” was barking like crazy because they thought Courtney was getting home (loud trucks). Also Bonnie is in heat and Bucky & Sam are nuts. So at midnight I am trying to get them all in, I have a broken crate, two males that are “in love” and won’t come in the garage and a female that won’t shut up because she wants to come in. Throw in the other crazies who are just barking because they are in the garage and the others aren’t and it’s pretty loud. So Jim got to answer the door with Hopey going nuts, holding Mary and wearing only his boxers. I told him it’s a good thing I didn’t answer the door I would have offered to make a donation to the police department K-9 unit. So Bonnie and Angel are at the place until in separate horse stalls until Bonnie is out of heat. We are going to start a “spay/neuter” program shortly! I am sure our neighbors hate us right now – can’t say I blame them!

It got really cold here on Sunday it’s only supposed to be 40 for a high all week. I don’t know who I feel worse for Courtney or the horses.
