Note from the Dr.

Mary’s doctor offered to write a note to my boss since I have been out of the office most of the week home with Mary. Thanks Dr. Lin but I have blown through all my sick time and am now taking vacation. I think Mary is tired of being home but I can’t take her to school with a fever and watery diaper now can I? Courtney and I have been trading off watching her. Courtney goes upstairs to study and after 45 minutes yesterday I was thinking it had been about 3 hours. Mary was even calling “Nitney” and she usually says Sissy.  Mary only took an hour nap due to the city worker repairing something across the street. I know I have no right to get mad but I am home with a sick two year old who NEEDS a nap! Have I mentioned she misbehaves even worse when she is tired?  I have 10 more minutes until I am back on “Mary duty” so Courtney can take her of her stuff and get to school by 10:00.  I got up at 3:30 to get some work stuff done – and am I done well no! I am not even going to mention the last time I had a shower…
