The heat is on

Not in the house its still in the 90's here - just in my life!!


I just found out my scrapbook organization stuff will not be here until Tuesday! I hoped for Monday since I have to take a vacation day anyway. I was hoping to get the guest room organized before Lauren and Ellie have to sleep in there. The Joseph "clean gene" hit poor little Lauren hard I am afraid the clutter will be too much for her. Quite honestly I suspect that is why Maria is staying at a hotel, she had to sleep in the guest room after I had Mary and it sent her into a ding dong eating frenzy - no doubt from the stress.


I took Mary to Luby's last night for dinner. Our first trip out with just the two of us. There was so much activity she didn't eat much but mostly watched everything. She also spent a fair amount of time trying to figure out how to get her placement off the table (it has suction cups that stick to the table). My little engineer girl is always thinking! The biggest challenge was holding her and signing the credit card receipt she really wanted to help me.


Mary is now giving squeezing huggies and open mouth licking kisses (hopefully not a sign of things to come) when you ask for a huggy or kissy, she seems to understand that better than loves & sugars.


This whole car thing is a pain in my ass! I am working with 6 or 7 different dealerships and no one can read. Trying to get a quote is a complete whipping because you have to start at square one every time, is it 4WD, is it a 3/4 ton frame, is it white. Then I find out one or two of those things are not the case, I again reiterate it must be 4WD and must have a 3/4 ton frame I am becoming more flexible on the color but I would prefer white. Then I find a couple that come close to fitting the criteria and find out they are either sold or not in stock and they have to see if they can "trade" another dealership for them - talk about Bait and Switch!! The Durrango actually seems to be running a little better I wonder if I got bad gas or it knows its days are numbered?


I am still hoping for 25 pound weight loss miracle before next week.
