Still laughing

I still can't come up with anything to top Dad's comments from last night along with everyone else's. Things are back to normal around here the "Pre Papa" stress is gone from my life. After all he saw the dirty glass on the back door and the crappers in the driveway how much lower could I slip on the messy daughter list? I was thinking maybe Jim could read the blog and comments to see what he missed over the weekend, I don't think he has gotten around to it yet.

I am now on the search for the Christmas card picture outfits - it never ends?

I believe I still have the Christmas Card with Courtney's Christmas outfit. It was a red, black, and white plaid shirt. I'm betting Mary's is going to be somewhat fancier. And so it continues. You can explain to her how the oldest one allways gets the raw deal. I don't believe you got a new Camaro when you turned 16. See what happens when you run off to get married so you don't have to spread rocks and pick up after the dog's on the Papa Plantation. Pay attention Cinder Courtney. There is always more dog turds and another plantation at the end of the rainbow. Here endeth the lesson.

How ironic I left to escape the dog poop yet ended up with even more animals. Horses make more poop than dogs. But I just have to look at it I haven't cleaned a horse stall since I got pregnant with Mary. Now that may be a good enough reason to have another one...

Ohmy, you have some writers in your family! Love the catfood vs. photos dilemma. Go with the pics. :)

I didn't get my "two cents" in after Papasooman's decription of our Mary BD week-end. I certainly can't compete with his clever and entertaining literary genius. It was crazy, but great. It made us appreciate how lucky we are to have great kids & grand-kids. I couldn't be prouder to be the "Bobo" of that clan. Thanks to Jim, Liz & Courtney, and of course,Mary who made this gathering possible. It's quite a feat to coordinate, lodging, transportation, entertainment( we obviously entertain each other) and food for a group of " crazy" family members, I loved every moment.
