Croup

Or so the Dr. says. I am not sure when I became such a rebel and quit believing anything (or at least questioning) anyone told me. Maybe it is from living with someone who is a product of medical screw-ups and misdiagnoses'. That being said I did give her the liquid steriods last night and this morning and it really makes her crazy and doesn't seem to be working on her. Last night the humidifier seemed to make more difference than anything, she coughed all the way to school and when I was almost there I realized the vent for the a/c was blowing right down on her - way to go Mom!

So I am giving serious thought to what we are going to do tonight.

**Special shout out to my nephew Josh HAPPY BIRTHDAY I can't believe you are already 16!!**

When Chris had it one year when he was little they told me to steam up the bathroom (smaller bathrooms work better) using the shower and sit in there with him and let him breath in the hot humid air and it would help and it did seem to. You can do the same thing with a towel over a sink of hot water and put your head under it. You would have to do it with her and make it a game or something. One of the things I really liked when they were congested was a mentholadum for kids that was cherry. It was mild enough they didn't freak out when I used it under their noses at night.
