Where does the time go?

I woke up yesterday morning and the first thought that came to my mind is "It's Christopher's birthday we need to call him today" The next time I thought about it was right before I feel asleep and figured he would be in bed. I win the crappy Aunt award my oldest nephew turns 18 and my day gets away from me and I forget to call him. I could give you the entire outline of my day and I was really busy but that would be making excuses which is something I really do not want to do. More than likely he had more important people calling him than us but still I feel bad. I guess I am going to have to step it up in the gift department to try and make up for it!

Part of the reason I was so busy yesterday is because we were in Oklahoma checking on two of the horses all day Saturday so all of my weekend chores got thrown into one day.

Mary took her last dose of steroids on Saturday - thank God she is getting back to normal and not so crabby, clinging and temperamental. She got mad about something yesterday and just hurled it across the room with an angry look on her face Jim and I just laughed. It seemed hypocritical to get on to her when clearly her issue is genetic!

p.s. Congrats to Jim's cousin Amy and her husband Jim little Caleb decided to come on his own this morning and not wait to be induced on Valentines Day. Something tells me this little guy is going to have a mind of his own!

Yeah..let's see how you feel when she is 12 and throwing things!

Mean ol' Aunt Lisa (again)

BTW..not only is Chris 18, he is also a high school graduate as of this morning. He is officially done with that part of his education. The ceremony is going to be June 3 at UNT in Denton for anyone who wants to go. And he wants some $800 tires for his truck if you really want to up the gift! ;`) Who said girls were more expensive! HA!

Did she say Hasta La Vista Baby before she threw it? It may be the roids. And so it begins. The Mary Laxton Chronicles. The Terminator does Texas.
