Sherry Baby

This morning as we were putting the paci to sleep in the crib Mary wanted to bring her baby with her in the car to go to baby school. This reminded me of the story of "Sherry Baby" my sister Theresa's favorite doll who went everywhere and if she didn't (her first sleepover) Mom was getting up in the middle of the night to bring it to her. Sherry Baby looks pretty rough now in fact Theresa's kids refer to her as "two face" from Batman. It may me wonder if we have a Sherry Baby in our future since Mary held her all the way to school even in her sleep.

The movie of the week is Lilo and Stitch which I love because Lilo wants Stitch to be like Elvis "who is a model citizen". Mary seems to like the movie so far.

She is really making her opinions known as you may have guessed she has learned to shake her head no along with yes and really seems to know the difference. Mary do you want a cupcake nods yes, Mary are you ready to go to bed - shakes her head no. She is also saying "Hi " (mostly to Hopey who by the way can't talk back) and makes a wide variety of animal noises including spitting like a camel - thanks Courtney for teaching her that one. In fact she makes more animals noises than she says words. Instead of barking for a dog she pants which is pretty smart since the dogs do pant more than they bark. She also can point to many of her body parts (including her boogers - not sure who taught her that one) and shows you her belly and Daddy's belly (if he is there) if you say belly.

Poor Sherry Baby, a bad name and now a pretty scary face. Not as bad as Lauren's "Prayer Dolly" with the green hair that looks like dreadlocks.
