The Camera is here!

Even though I got a free pass from Papa not to do the blog "Due to the circumstances of the past week, and the fact that Courtney is on her way to Chicago you are hereby officially excused from publishing the Blog today." I had it drafted so here it goes!

I have to squeeze in some time this weekend to take some pictures and figure out the new camera! The good news is my car is fixed (for the moment anyway) so I can pick that up. Courtney's truck is also home but the fuel gauge is broken so she just needs to watch the odometer and fill that beast up more often. Jim's computer wouldn't turn on at all yesterday a.m. but it is magically working today.


Courtney is meeting Bobo in Chicago to visit Grandpa D who turned 87 this week. She was a little nervous about the whole airport/flying thing but I am sure she will do fine. I am ordering Mary's cake this weekend so we will take a field trip to Garland to a little Mom & Pop Bakery I got great reviews on. I hope the cake is good.
