Valentine's Day Party

It’s a week away but planner mom is on the job. I totally went overboard last night, I ended up with plates, 2 tablecloths, kid size play doh, skittles and teacher gifts. I bought Valentine’s day cards but don’t really like them which is what prompted me to create the little card above. I will have them printed at Walgreens and she can pass those out instead. The only thing I am debating on now is helping with the party – which is really code for I want to go there and take pictures.

It was great seeing Miss Hannah, Mary was a little shy at first. Miss Hannah was all fixed up no glasses, had on makeup and real clothes not “I hang out with two year olds all day clothes”, Mary wasn’t sure what to think about the “Hot Miss Hannah”. She brought Mary a book and an outfit she is really so nice, I wish she lived closer I would totally trust her to babysit. She went with us to Target and of course Mary wanted her to push her in the cart, it was like having Courtney there I could focus on getting the party stuff, bounced ideas off her much easier than just Mary and I alone. Mary of course was so excited to see Daddy and share his “muffin man”. She was very tired and fell asleep in the car. Unfortunately she didn’t stay asleep and she and her daddy had a healthy snack of Doritos & juice in bed while I tried to watch ER, no wonder she looks forward to him coming home I am not as fun.

Of course Miss Hannah is a hero. She doesn't have to discipline, clean- up and direct traffic and chores.

Sounds like Mary had a really fun day. I love the valentine, so cute. It will be nice if you get to go to the party. The kids parties are lots of fun.
